Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager with Stationstore operations, assist in hiring and supervising staff, and oversee daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising. You will help maintain high standards, provide fast and friendly customer service, ensure consistent onsite attendance, and contribute to executing the food program. You will demonstrate leadership, urgency, patience, and the ability to plan, organize, delegate, and communicate effectively while coaching and motivating others. Previous roles in retail, supervision or management, recruiting/hiring, interviewing, and food-handling experience are valued, along with the ability to cash-handle and perform basic bookkeeping.
