Store Assistant Manager

You will assist the Store Manager with oversight of the Stationstore operations, help with hiring, supervising and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising, and maintain high standards while delivering fast and friendly service to customers. Responsibilities include leading a team, recruiting and hiring, delegation and follow-up, teaching and motivating others, planning and organizing, communicating plans, cash-handling and bookkeeping, problem solving, safety and security, and ensuring consistent on-site attendance. Optional qualifications include retail/management experience and familiarity with food programs; a high school or college degree is preferred and related training is provided.
