Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising staff, and managing daily tasks such as bookkeeping and merchandising. Maintain high standards by providing fast, friendly customer service and executing the company's food program. Ensure regular, predictable onsite attendance while leading a team through recruiting, interviewing, and motivating others. Handle cash transactions, solve problems, and advocate for safety and security on the floor. This role requires standing or walking for up to eight hours and lifting up to 30 pounds. Full-time position with flexible schedules, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Display a sense of urgency
- Display patience
- Display leadership
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
- Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
