Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager at Circle K, assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising staff, bookkeeping and merchandising. Ensure regular on-site attendance, uphold high standards, and provide fast, friendly service. Lead a team, recruit and interview, delegate tasks, plan and organize, and coach others. Manage cash-handling and bookkeeping duties, handle customer needs, and promote safety and security. This role involves hands-on leadership, training, and motivating staff in a retail environment with a strong focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School/College Degree(s)
- Retail experience
- Supervisor or management experience
- Recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills
- Experience handling food
- Physical requirements to stand/walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 60 pounds; reach and manipulate objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
