Job Summary
Administer and support enterprise SAN infrastructure, managing backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage systems while performing provisioning, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Configure replication, snapshots, cloning, and disaster recovery solutions, then monitor system health to proactively resolve issues. Support virtualization and server teams with connectivity and optimization, participating in upgrades, migrations, and patching. Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards while ensuring compliance with federal security policies. Participate in on-call support as required.
Required Qualifications
- United States citizen
- active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise storage environments
- experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- experience with Fibre Channel
- experience with iSCSI
- experience with Enterprise backup and recovery (BURA) technologies
- experience administering one or more enterprise backup platforms, including: Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, Dell NetWorker, Veeam, Rubrik, Cohesity
- experience supporting VMware vSphere or similar virtualization platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills across storage, backup, and infrastructure technologies
- experience supporting secure enterprise or government environments
- Must live within 90 minutes of one of the sites above
- Must be available for on-call support as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with one or more enterprise storage platforms: HPE Alletra, HPE Primera, HPE Nimble Storage, Dell PowerStore, Dell PowerMax, Dell Unity XT, Pure Storage FlashArray, NetApp AFF, IBM FlashSystem
- experience with Storage replication technologies
- experience with Snapshot management
- experience with Data migration projects
- experience with Brocade or Cisco MDS SAN switches
- experience with Windows and Linux server administration
- experience with VMware vCenter and ESXi
- experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting
- experience with Enterprise monitoring and management platforms
