Job Summary
Install, maintain and upgrade internal storage hardware and software systems (SAN/NAS) used for designing and developing products; manage user access and permissions; propose and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance; monitor usage and performance; apply replication/high-availability configurations; operate in a hybrid on-site/remote schedule from Lima, Peru.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- 2 to 3 years of experience administering SAN and NAS storage platforms.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise storage arrays from vendors such as Dell, IBM, Huawei, or similar.
- Strong knowledge in: SAN and NAS administration
- Volume and file system management
- Permissions and shared resource (file shares) management
- Quota management and capacity planning
- Replication and high availability configurations
- Storage monitoring and performance optimization
- Infrastructure incident troubleshooting
- Experience administering SAN switches (Cisco / Brocade preferred).
- Knowledge of storage protocols: NFS SMB/CIFS
- Experience managing multi-platform IT environments (Windows, Linux, and VMware virtualized environments).
- English proficiency (desirable).
