Storage Presales Architect

Job Summary
The Storage Presales Architect is responsible for architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes across HPE's hardware, software, services, and as-a-service offerings. The role includes developing and presenting compelling customer proposals, providing technical expertise to sales teams, and ensuring that customer requirements are met. This position requires in-depth knowledge of technical domains, advanced solution design skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The candidate should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, along with extensive experience in solution selling and technical consulting. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in customer relationship management are key responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
- 8–12 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and storytelling
- Advanced business and financial acumen—sales cycle, pipeline growth, reporting, ability to influence, business strategy linkage
- Advanced consultative/value selling skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ experienced-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred
- Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful, but not required
