Job Summary
Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation of next-generation storage and backup systems, both on and off premise. Collaborate with government technical leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers to evaluate emerging technologies while developing and maintaining the storage demonstration environment. Execute test plans, perform root cause analysis for major issues, and provide Tier 3/4 support for storage and backup platforms. Conduct system security engineering with a Storage/SAN focus, installing, monitoring, and optimizing solutions to achieve Authorize to Operate (ATO). Work on-site with an existing/active TS/SCI and CI polygraph; no remote work. Requires expertise with NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, NetBackup, or hyper-converged solutions, full life-cycle SAN administration, and proficiency in Windows and RedHat administration.
Required Qualifications
- Existing/active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- Must work on site (no remote work)
- Expertise with NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, NetBackup, or hyper-converged solutions (VxRail, Nutanix)
- Full life-cycle SAN administration experience, including utilization analysis and capacity planning
- Experience with virtual environment such as VMWare
- Proficiency with Windows and RedHat administration
- Familiarity with Cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or Oracle)
- Broad understanding across technology towers i.e.: Storage, Virtualization, Intel, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster Recovery
