Job Summary
Design highly available, high-performance storage and database solutions using Redis, MySQL, TiDB, and MongoDB to bridge business needs with technology. Lead DevOps efficiency initiatives by driving automated deployment, intelligent monitoring, and self-healing capabilities while advancing platform-driven operations. Act as project owner to coordinate cross-departmental resources, define technical approaches, and ensure major initiatives are delivered on time. Track cutting-edge developments in the storage space to lead technical pre-research, validate PoCs, and provide forward-looking recommendations for the technical roadmap. Work closely with business and engineering teams to provide technical support, organize internal training sessions, and elevate team-wide expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one of: Redis/Tair, MySQL, TiDB, MongoDB, S3-compatible object storage, graph databases (e.g., Nebula)
- Solid understanding of architecture principles, performance optimization, transaction management, and high-availability solutions
- Solid software development background
- Proficient in at least one of Python, Go, or Java
- Proven ability to independently lead major cross-functional projects
- Capable of defining plans, tracking progress, and coordinating resources for successful delivery
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective at working across teams and organizational levels
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building storage/database management platforms, middleware, or related systems
- Cross-industry storage/database application experience
- Open-source contributions or technical patents
