Job Summary
Develop and plan classical and Software-Defined Storage solutions for data center infrastructure projects while executing complex planning and implementation tasks independently. Provide technical leadership for larger projects during the implementation phase, manage technical interfaces, and document solutions. Analyze complex customer environments to identify optimization potentials and facilitate internal and external knowledge transfer, including support for the sales team during the presales phase. Perform cross-vendor fault analysis to resolve storage issues. This role is based at interface systems GmbH, part of the Medialine Group, where the company designs and implements independent complex information systems ranging from IT architecture consulting to system integration.
Required Qualifications
- mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Storage Bereich (Planung, Design, Betrieb)
- sehr gute Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten mit der NetApp-Produktpalette wie FAS, E-Series, SolidFire, AltaVault
- Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten mit Linux-Distributionen bspw. Red Hat, SUSE oder Microsoft-Produkten und VMware
- Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Server-Applikationen und Infrastrukturlösungen
- gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- ausgeprägtes Interesse an planerischen Tätigkeiten sowie selbständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
Desired Qualifications
- vorhandene nachweisbare Zertifikate bspw. NCIE-SAN, Unity TA, VNX TA wünschenswert
- angewandte Projektmanagement-Kenntnisse
- Interesse an ergänzenden Themen, B. Automatisierung, Containerisierung, hybride Cloud-Lösungen oder Storage-Lösungen
