Stone Slab Handling Specialist

Job Summary
Load and unload stone slabs from carriers and delivery vehicles, inspecting for damage and reporting discrepancies. Operate forklifts, slab lifters, and other material handling equipment while using bar code scanners to track materials in inventory systems. Prepare slabs for shipment or delivery with proper packaging and labeling, and travel to customer sites to assist with handling. Perform physical inventory counts, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and follow all safety procedures while wearing appropriate PPE. Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory or delivery issues, learn product specifications for various stone types, and perform other related duties as assigned. This role involves occasional travel to other warehouses up to 25% and requires a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of slab handling experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely (up to 100+ lbs)
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
