Job Summary
Stockroom Specialist / Sales Associate for a permanent full-time role in Covent Garden store. Responsibilities include managing the flow of products within the store, ensuring high levels of customer service through inventory management, creating and monitoring in-store merchandise flow, organizing receipt and inspection of deliveries, ensuring stock is available for the sales floor, participating in seasonal transitions, assisting with physical inventory counts, and supporting sales floor teams during peak periods. Must be able to upsell, advise customers on products, handle cash, and act as a brand ambassador with a strong service culture. Requires 2+ years of retail experience, strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office and Cegid, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a permanent contract, full-time role. Passion for Salomon and outdoor sports, plus teamwork and a proactive learning mindset.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar retail or large-scale distribution position
- Strong organizational skills and ability to optimize inventory management processes
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Cegid software
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience in customer service and retail
- Passion and knowledge of Salomon's core sports
- Team player
- Hands-on approach and willingness to learn
