Job Summary
Stockkeeping Specialist responsible for managing inventory of various consumable commodities in a storeroom supporting a scientific laboratory environment. Responsibilities include stocking, managing, and issuing commodities from storeroom; posting inventory transactions into SAP; coordinating delivery of compressed gas cylinders; managing a Shelf-Life program and hazardous materials inventory; operating material handling equipment including motorized pallet jacks and forklifts; and interacting with internal customers to address needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of relevant experience
- Valid California driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to operate motorized pallet jacks and forklifts
- Basic computer skills
- Proven organizational skills
- Experience with inventory management or SAP
- Hazardous materials inventory handling
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Existing active security clearance (preferred)
- US citizenship for security clearance (required for clearance)
