Job Summary
Stockist role at Polène Chicago boutique on Oak Street. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, managing stockroom operations, coordinating product flow to the sales floor or directly to clients, and communicating stock status with the sales team and supply chain HQ. Partners with sales to ensure product availability, supports inter-boutique transfers, conducts regular cycle counts and inventories, and supports overall store performance. Must understand Polène collections, demonstrate strong organization, and thrive in a luxury retail environment while delivering an elevated client experience to local and international clientele. Requires experience with luxury retail, inventory management, and a client-focused mindset, with weekend/holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience serving high-end, local, and international clientele in luxury retail, premium retail, or leather goods.
- Experience with inventory management and stockroom operations preferred.
- Highly autonomous and adaptable with strong energy in busy retail environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with a supportive mindset.
- Weekend, holiday, and peak-season availability is required.
