Job Summary
Inventory, receive, stock, and distribute food products, cleaning supplies, and related food service items for the Food Service Department and patient care areas. Maintain organization and cleanliness while performing tasks that require standing most of the day, lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing or pulling light to medium weight objects. Communicate verbally and in writing with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and co-workers. Work Monday through Friday on the first shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to be active and on feet most of the day
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to push, and pull light to medium weight objects
- Ability to occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and co-workers
- Ability to be self sufficient
- Ability to keep well organized and clean
- Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service
