Job Summary
Stockers are high-energy, motivated associates who manually move merchandise to designated areas in a fast-paced distribution-center environment. The role involves using handheld RF scanners, stocking product to appropriate locations, ensuring safe, clean work conditions, meeting productivity expectations, and supporting safety compliance. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and emphasizes safety and teamwork in a drug-free, Equal Opportunity Workplace. This is a seasonal, full-time stocker role that supports merchandising flow and inventory accuracy in a West Marine distribution setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Understanding of RF Scanners
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or team lift items greater than 50 lbs.
