Job Summary
Stock shelves, front and dust product, review for out-of-date items, and empty shopping carts onto the register. Maintain uniform standards, greet guests with a helpful demeanor, and suggestively sell add-on items while resolving complaints with courtesy. Clean up broken items, mop floors, sweep parking lot refuse, and keep bathrooms and trash areas stocked. Load keg orders, answer guest questions, and run a cash register as business dictates. Prepare assigned areas for inventory and carry out directives of management efficiently. Maintain a valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit and Food Handlers Permit. Work full-time 35 hours or part-time up to 25 hours, available for any shift on Friday or Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 21
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- Valid Food Handlers Permit (in some cases)
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to communicate with and understand coworkers and guests
- Bilingual skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate discounts and percentages

- Patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic

- Must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week

- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more occasionally
