Job Summary
Stock shelves, front and dust products, and review for out-of-date items while maintaining uniform standards and a clean sales floor. Empty shopping carts, gather carts from the parking lot, sweep and mop floors, and keep bathrooms and trash receptacles stocked and clean. Load keg orders, break down unused boxes, and suggestively sell add-on items to guests. Answer guest questions, resolve complaints with courtesy, and run cash registers as business dictates. Maintain proper lifting techniques for items weighing up to 100 pounds and adhere to safety regulations. Work full-time 35 hours or part-time up to 25 hours, available for any shift including Fridays and Saturdays, with a valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 21
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Must be able to communicate with and understand coworkers and guests
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals
- Must be able to calculate discounts and percentages
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more occasionally
- Must be able to push and/or pull 50 to 100 pounds or more regularly
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday
- Must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week
