Job Summary
Stock shelves with new merchandise upon receipt, work back stock to the shelves, and face shelves while maintaining conditions and readjusting sets. Assist in building and maintaining displays as directed by management, organize and maintain the warehouse, and order stock according to management instructions. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies to maintain exceptional customer service, assist the front end or other departments as needed, and follow all safety guidelines regarding power equipment, balers, compactors, and box knives. This medium work requires the ability to lift 50 lb. boxes, exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently, and use knives and sharp instruments for food preparation or product removal.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
