Job Summary
Stock shelves with new merchandise, face items, and maintain shelf conditions while organizing and maintaining the warehouse. Build and maintain displays as directed, order stock, and assist the front end or other departments as needed. Adhere to safety guidelines regarding power equipment and company policies, including dress code and name tags. Maintain exceptional customer service by following "Meet and Greet" policies. This entry-level role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes and exerting significant force frequently, with good vision and hearing. Reports to Store Director, Assistant Store Director, or Grocery Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
