Job Summary
Stocker at Hy-Vee handling unloading and stocking of products, rotating inventory, and providing prompt, friendly customer service in the grocery department. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, opening containers, stocking shelves, monitoring for mis-picked items, assisting customers in locating products, and working with team to ensure a positive shopping experience. Requires heavy physical work, the ability to load/unload, and availability for night and weekend shifts; prior experience in retail or stocking is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to perform very heavy work and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret instructions
- Ability to work night and weekend shifts
