Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy, quality, and completeness. Unload, label, date, and properly store products in accordance with food safety requirements. Maintain organized, clean, and secure storage rooms, walk-ins, coolers, and supply areas while rotating inventory using First In, First Out practices. Stock service stations with glassware, dishware, and linens; polish equipment to presentation standards. Perform light custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal in storage and guest-facing spaces. Transport supplies throughout the restaurant and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Valid Food Handler Certification required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler Certification required
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift heavier items with assistance
- Ability to move safely through kitchen areas, including slick floors, hot surfaces, sharp tools, and tight spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Previous receiving, warehouse, stockroom, grocery, or restaurant inventory experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Technical Proficiency with computers and POS systems
