Job Summary
Help customers find products, offer recommendations, and load their purchases into vehicles while checking materials for quick, accurate deliveries. Load materials safely, ensure items are packed correctly for transport, and keep the yard organized for easy location. Drive forklifts or company vehicles to assist with deliveries and unloading, while maintaining safety rules and a clean work area. Assist with inventory counting to verify stock levels and step in to support customer service across different areas as needed. Perform other tasks assigned by management to keep the team running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to lift, climb, reach, twist, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to work in various temperatures and outdoor conditions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Results-driven attitude with a commitment to delivering great service
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work hard as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with construction or building materials
- Forklift experience (1+ year preferred)
