Job Summary

Verify trucks are loaded and secured per DOT standards, then unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive. Support delivery operations by riding with drivers, unloading heavy building materials, and providing excellent customer service at delivery sites. When required, participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all OSHA requirements, using proper lifting techniques and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Frequently drive or sit in a truck, forklift, or similar equipment for multiple hours daily, pushing, pulling, and lifting building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds. This full-time position reports to the Branch Manager with competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds
  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry greater weights occasionally
  • Ability to use proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Ability to frequently drive or sit in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
  • Ability to frequently use hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
  • Ability to ride with drivers
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
  • Ability to participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required
  • Ability to verify trucks are loaded and secured in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
  • Ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive
