Job Summary
Verify trucks are loaded and secured per Company and DOT standards. Unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive. Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all OSHA requirements and proper lifting techniques. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing. Operate equipment such as forklifts for multiple hours daily, pushing, pulling, and lifting building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds. Support company values in safety, customer focus, teamwork, integrity, and being a Company of Choice. Perform other duties as assigned. - Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Ability to drive or sit in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds using proper lifting procedures
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry greater weights
- Ability to push and pull carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces
- Ability to perform some functions as a team
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
