Job Summary
Verify trucks are loaded and secured per Company and DOT standards, then unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directives. Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all OSHA requirements and using proper lifting techniques. Operate equipment such as forklifts for multiple hours daily and push, pull, or lift building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds using proper procedures. This role supports FBM's construction materials distribution operations across the United States and Canada, ensuring smooth loading and unloading with safety, accuracy, and speed.

- Ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive
- Ability to participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Ability to drive or sit in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds using proper lifting procedures
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry greater weights
- Ability to push and pull carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces
- Ability to perform duties as a team
