Job Summary
Verify trucks are loaded and secured per DOT standards, then unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following all OSHA requirements, using proper lifting techniques, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Frequently drive, sit, or operate equipment for multiple hours daily while pushing, pulling, and lifting building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds. Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required. - Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Ability to drive or sit in a truck, forforklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds using proper lifting procedures
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry greater weights
- Ability to push and pull carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces
- Ability to perform some functions as a team
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Ability to verify trucks are loaded and secured in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
- Ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive
- Ability to participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required
