Job Summary
Verify trucks are loaded and secured per DOT standards, then unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive. Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following all OSHA requirements, using proper lifting techniques, and wearing appropriate PPE including safety shoes. Operate forklifts or similar equipment for multiple hours daily, frequently pushing, pulling, and lifting building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds. - Ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive
- Ability to participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories when required
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Ability to drive or sit in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds using proper lifting procedures
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry greater weights
- Ability to push and pull carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces
