Job Summary
Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely. Merchandise and stock assigned areas while maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and managing trash. Assist customers with a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Manage sales transactions on the assigned cash register and maintain security of cash and company assets. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports daily store operations from merchandising to front-end duties.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
