Job Summary
Stockchase and warehouse tasks include stocking assembly lines with correct parts, locating assembly materials, responding to calls for needed parts or pallet pickups, and moving completed pallets to the shipping department. Daily operations require standing forklift and/or reach truck experience, hand/pallet jack skills, and RF gun proficiency. Candidates must read instructions, operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively in English while maintaining dedication to quality and safety. This role supports AprilAire's mission to improve indoor air quality for millions of homes through innovative HVAC technologies and a culture of growth.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Stand-Up Forklifts
- Standing forklift and/or reach truck experience
- Must have a good command for the English language and be able to communicate, both written and verbally
- Dedication to quality and safety
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, and reach
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- Hand/Pallet jack experience
- RF gun experience
- Reading and understanding instructions
- Ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot, and problem solve
- Positive attitude and leadership skills
- Knowledge of lean principles
