Job Summary

Process and oversee shipping and receiving activities, verifying merchandise quantities and quality against documentation. Maintain organized front-of-house and back-of-house stock areas, ensuring accurate ticketing, tagging, and logging to support inventory control. Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances with central distribution, and manage client shipments, store transfers, and returns. Prepare and manage client shipments, organize inventory results, and maintain accurate levels in Shopify. Assist with floor moves, price changes, visual updates, and general store upkeep while supporting the sales team with size runs and product availability. Delegate daily assignments, coach team members, and hold the Stock & Operations team accountable for established standards. Serve as a designated keyholder responsible for safely opening and closing the store. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, with final supervisory responsibility determined by experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail stock, inventory, shipping and receiving, or store operations
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the store and stock areas for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and handle boxes, merchandise, and fixtures weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb, turn, and perform routine physical stockroom activities safely
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance
  • Proficiency with Shopify, Microsoft Office, Mac computers, POS terminals, tablets, phone systems, or comparable retail technology
  • Strong customer-service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively across store teams
  • Ability to provide direction, reinforce standards, and support the development of other employees
  • Professional, dependable, and personable demeanor with a strong team orientation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in merchandise handling, documentation, and data entry
