Job Summary
The Stock Manager is responsible for maintaining an organized stock room, processing shipments, and assisting with stock replenishment on the sales floor. This role requires ensuring shipments are processed quickly and accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the stockroom and on the shelves, and reporting any discrepancies. The Stock Manager will assist in training on security policies, actively participate in meetings to drive sales and profitability, and demonstrate professionalism in interactions. Key qualifications include previous stock experience, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and being self-motivated.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous stock experience is required
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
