Job Summary
Formulate and enforce picking goals for each warehouse zone and ensure dock-to-stock completion within 72 hours. Coordinate with purchasing to implement procedures for unloading vendor orders and stocking shelves, while checking in and posting orders from hubs. Maintain an accurate inventory count, assist parts pullers in locating items, and handle damaged deliveries by reporting to vendors. Oversee operations by enforcing 5S principles, ensuring DOT and OSHA compliance, and managing carrier and local delivery relationships. Work with dispatchers to enhance delivery efficiency and support sales objectives. Maintain a safe, clean working environment and manage cash assets.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience as a stock manager
- Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution
- Experience with WMS/ inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology
- Must possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed
- Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify areas drifting behind in production and pro-actively take action to get back on track
- Experience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as inbound/outbound productivity
- Ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)
- Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc)
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive parts preferred
- Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred
- Clean/ valid drivers license preferred
