Job Summary
Conduct daily powered industrial truck and pallet jack inspections while maintaining good housekeeping practices. Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, WAVs, Taylor Dunn, JLG lifts, reciprocating saws, screw guns, wrapping machines, and handheld radios. Pick items for production, verify part numbers and quantities, and shelve returns. Compile inventory and stock data through computer research and input. Help load trucks and prepare items for shipment. Complete 21 lines per hour using various hand tools such as tape measures. Submit PCR for incorrect work instructions and contribute to continuous improvement. Must attain a forklift license and wear all personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems
- Must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to climb, squat, kneel, push, pull, lift up to 49 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 30 lbs. constantly
- Must be able to attain a forklift license
- Work in a non-climate controlled area
- Valid driver's license
