Job Summary
Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools while compiling accurate stock records for the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice, examine stock for specification conformance, and store articles according to identifying information. Fill orders, issue supplies, and conduct periodic, special, or perpetual inventory counts. Perform physical inventory counts, material inspections, and location surveys. Mark identifying codes on articles, distribute stock among production workers, and keep records of issued materials. Maintain stock handling equipment and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient writing emails and using Microsoft Office programs and other computer systems
- Experienced with Military Automated Supply Systems
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
- Must have ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail
- Possess a valid drivers' license, pass MHE testing and maintain licenses
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
- Must pass the National Agency Background Check and obtain computer access
