Job Summary
Scan shipments as delivered, ticket and stock merchandise in the stockroom or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor. Maintain inventory records, organize stockroom by department and categories, and ensure aisles and exits remain clear. Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations, pack and log items for customer deliveries, and complete daily tasks including store maintenance and cleaning. Comply with all company policies and procedures to minimize loss while ensuring merchandise is safely stored and easily located. Full-time associates receive competitive pay ranging from $17.60 to $18.60 per hour, whereas part-time flex roles require weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- stockroom (or related work.) experience
- Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods of time
- Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to operate POS system
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the week
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days
