Job Summary
Scan shipments as delivered, ticket and stock merchandise in the stockroom or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor, and accurately maintain inventory records. Organize stockroom by department and categories, ensure aisles and exits are clear, and transport merchandise to and from remote locations while maintaining accurate logs. Assist sales team in replenishing floors during recovery periods, pack merchandise for customer deliveries, and complete daily tasks including store maintenance and cleaning. Full-time associates are expected to have open availability; part-time flex associates must be available for minimum two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts. This role offers a competitive compensation package including pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- stockroom (or related work.) experience
- Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods of time
- Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to operate POS system
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
