Job Summary
Receive shipments of merchandise and verify incoming stock against invoices or manifests. Assist in inventory reconciliation processes to ensure accurate stock levels and help with picking, packing, and shipping orders for timely fulfillment. Keep the stockroom and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Assist the sales team by locating product or answering product-related questions while working collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive environment. Adhere to company policies regarding inventory management, safety protocols, and operational guidelines. This role is based in the Fashion Valley retail store, requiring physical stamina to lift heavy objects and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciliation
- Knowledge of inventory management software or willingness to learn
