Job Summary
Receive shipments, scan merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory records by ticketing stock in the stockroom or preparing items for immediate distribution. Organize stockroom areas by department and category, ensuring aisles and exits remain clear while safely storing and logging all merchandise. Transport goods to and from remote locations, pack for customer deliveries, and complete daily maintenance tasks including cleaning and lighting upkeep. Assist the sales team with replenishment during peak times and provide feedback on inventory levels and damages.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- stockroom (or related work.) experience
- Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods of time
- Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to operate POS system
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
