Job Summary
Build department sales by making product recommendations, answering questions, and assisting guests. Stock product, merchandise, price items, and maintain shelves and displays while rotating inventory to minimize out-of-dates. Receive and verify deliveries, operate the POS and cardboard baler, and clean the department including floors, shelving, and coolers. Work items from back stock onto the sales floor and manage the pick list. Adhere to safe food handling practices and maintain cleanliness in the back room. Complete price changes, tag maintenance, and assist with inventory preparation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Proficient selling skills to ask questions, listen and make product recommendations
- Proficient cleaning abilities to meet sanitation and visual standards
Desired Qualifications
- Certification for Hi Lo / Powered Pallet Jack
