Job Summary
Stock Associate responsible for receiving shipments, accurately maintaining inventory records, and organizing the stockroom and off-site locations. Assist the sales team in replenishing the sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods. Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers. Key duties include scanning shipments as delivered, ticketing and stocking merchandise in the stockroom or for immediate distribution to the sales floor, reporting inventory levels and damages to supervisors, organizing stockroom by department and categories, adjusting stocking procedures to keep aisles clear, ensuring merchandise is properly stored, ticketed, packaged, and logged, packing and logging merchandise for customer deliveries, transporting merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations, and maintaining a clean, orderly stockroom. May assist on the sales floor during peak times. Requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate POS systems, and willingness to have open availability for full-time roles or to accommodate weekend shifts for part-time Flex associates. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom (or related work.) experience
- Basic product knowledge preferred but not required
- Effective time management skill to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods
- Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
