Job Summary
Stock Associate in West Elm at Saint Louis Galleria responsible for receiving shipments, maintaining inventory, stocking stockroom and sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods; scan shipments, ticket and log inventory, organize stockroom by department, minimize loss, transport merchandise to/from remote stockrooms, assist on sales floor during peak times, operate POS, and maintain clean stockroom and orderly storage; requires high attention to detail, customer-service orientation, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and flexible weekend availability for part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
- stockroom (or related work) experience preferred
- Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 pounds
- Mobile in stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods
- Effective time management to execute multiple tasks
