As part of Elders’ livestock team, join a regionally focused, full-time role across Adelong, Tumut, Gundagai and surrounding Eastern Riverina/Upper Murray communities. You’ll build strong relationships with livestock clients, identify marketing opportunities, provide practical advice to producers, and work closely with buyers, processors and other industry stakeholders. Expect diverse days—from yard work to on-farm client meetings and participation in livestock sales, auctions and on-property transactions—while contributing to local events and growing your professional profile in regional agriculture. The role emphasizes relationship development, commercial mindset, hard work, and customer service. Requirements include prior livestock experience or a willingness to embark on a long-term career in the industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work across a regional network. You must hold or be willing to obtain a Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation (Elders offers training).
