Job Summary
Maintain stock room cleanliness and organization while receiving, processing shipments, and assisting shuttle drivers with unloading trucks. Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, assembled, and displayed by moving new and existing items to and from the sales floor. Utilize scanning tools and the GW store inventory system to track inventory accurately, with training provided for basic computer skills. Assist with customer pick-ups and promotional display setup as needed. This role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, often using a dolly or roll cart, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 100+ lbs.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately track inventory and maintain orderliness in the stockroom.
- Previous experience in stockroom or warehouse operations, preferably in a retail or furniture environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and interact professionally with customers
- Basic computer skills utilizing the scanning tool, printing inventory tags, and working in GW's store inventory system
