Job Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN; assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, and comfort, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Responsible for recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), providing routine individualized healthcare needs, assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and other services, following facility procedures for admission, discharge and transfer of residents. Delivers basic emotional and psychological support to patients and families; directly provides nursing or nursing-related services; maintains records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report; performs other related activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program
- State Testing Nurse's Aide license in Ohio
