Job Summary
Maintain resident rights and assist with activities of daily living, including documenting care and ensuring nutrition needs are met. Conduct comfort care for end-of-life residents while adhering to infection control protocols and using personal protective equipment. Lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate good communication skills and empathy within a team environment. This State Tested Nursing Assistant role offers weekly pay, a 401K with employer contribution, and paid orientation and training at Lima Convalescent Home.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant in the State of Ohio
- Maintaining and promoting the rights of resident
- Assisting resident with activities of daily living
- Be proficient in infection control and use of personal protective equipment
- Good communication skills and empathy for others
- Documentation of resident care
- Assisting with ensuring that the nutrition needs are met
- Comfort care for residents who are end of life
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team
