Job Summary
Hospice Inpatient Nurse Aide (STNA) for PRN daytime/night shifts in Maysville, KY. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provides patient-care tasks including bathing, toileting, hygiene, turning/repositioning, feeding, room cleaning, supply maintenance, and vital signs observation; reports changes to RN. Requires state-approved Nurse Aide course, testing, and registration; preferred high school diploma or equivalent. 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of State approved Nurse Aide course, testing, and registration required
- At least one year of experience in a patient care position preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Empathy, responsibility, dependability, effective communication, ability to follow instructions
- Must carry state minimum automobile liability insurance
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and assist patient using aids such as Hoyer lift
