Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility tasks like turning, positioning, and ambulating. Measure and record vital signs, monitor skin conditions, and document all care provided in the electronic health record. Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to nursing staff and ensure safety by adhering to infection control guidelines and using PPE as required. Provide emotional support, engage residents in social activities, and respect their dignity and preferences. Work collaboratively with nursing staff and therapists to contribute to individualized care plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting
