Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility using assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs, skin conditions, weight, and intake/output while accurately documenting care in the electronic health record. Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to nursing staff and ensure safety by adhering to infection control guidelines and using proper PPE. Provide compassionate emotional support, respect resident dignity, and facilitate participation in social and recreational activities. Work collaboratively with nursing staff and therapists to contribute to individualized care plans and assist with transportation to appointments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification

- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting
