Job Summary
Join Summit Home Care and Hospice as a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, documenting care, aiding in mobility, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment. Candidates must possess current STNA licensure, be at least 18 years old, and hold CPR certification. A reliable vehicle and recent TB test are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in state and CPR certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet the training and license requirements in accordance with state and federal laws for STNA
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured
- Recent TB test required
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care that is given
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
